Idea 1

• Proposing a design that maximizes the use of natural light and ventilation.

  • Aim to decrease the use of non-renewable energy ( fossil fuel, coal, natural gas...)

  • Promote renewable energy to the public + increase awareness about renewable energy

• Proposing shelter/ rest point for homeless in the city

  • Mainly local citizen

  • Reason unemployment, low income, and domestic violence

• Improper shelter

  • weak hygiene awareness

  • poor living condition

• Will affect the view of a city

Idea 3

• Propose a design that generates rainwater becomes energy (cycle of rainwater)

  • Rainwater is collected to produce power

  • Rainwater next will be using as gardening vegetation

  • Rainwater for fish

• Upgrade urban poor slum/ education

  • People living in slum area does not have proper access to good hygiene and education

The final decision with lecturer : IDEA 2

In the end, I decided to go on idea 2 - propose a shelter for the homeless.

Comment given by lecturer:

• Keep in mind that is shelter/ center is not to keep them for a long time

• Add programs for them to learn to self sustain themself once they leave the shelter/center

• Research on the reason why they have a job, but don't have a place to stay
