Confirming of Furniture Layout Plan

Base on the tutorial with the lecturer and assessor, I had come out with 4 different layouts of the furniture layout plan.

GROUND FLOOR

Ground floor sample 1: Public spaces are gathered in the middle of the building, residences' units are at two corners. A bigger activity area is provided

Pros: Users in the building are easy to access the public area

Ground floor sample 2: Public spaces are gathering at the left of the building, gym and lounge are separate

a residence home is located in between public spaces. The kitchen area is bigger

Ground floor sample 3: Layout is similar to sample 2, sample 3 has more interment space than sample 2. Dining area act as a separator of the lounge and kitchen.

Ground floor sample 4: Layout similar to sample 2&3, entertainment space is located between dining area and lounge

General Pros and Cons for Ground Floor 2,3&4

Pros: The exercise area is separated, able to have more privacy.

Cons: A bit far for users to access from a space to another

FIRST FLOOR

First floor sample 1: Public spaces are separated by walls, accessible from the front and back of the building. The gaming area and study area are separated far apart.

First floor sample 2: A room is provided for maintenance purposes

First floor sample 3: Gaming area is at the end corner, studying area is a connection towards it.

First floor sample 4: Open area, accessible front and back of the building, left resident to have a more bigger living space

Final decision on furniture layout plan: Ground floor sample 4, First-floor sample 4 & Second-floor sample 3.
