The Row

Location: JALAN DORAISAMY, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA


The Row comprises 22no.s of 1950’s shop lots on Jalan Doraisamy, Kuala Lumpur which were previously known as ‘The Asian Heritage Row’.

It comprises 12 shop lots on the northern end of Jalan Doraisamy.

The surrounding of the Row is surrounded by multiple facilities context

This Site is selected for my project is because there are multiple Education Contexts nearby.

< primary school, secondary school, international school, university>


Besides multiple education contexts, the neighborhood is also surrounded by government department, which is easy to be accessed by the public

  • Outreach to other attractions

  • Many schools nearby- easy to attract students

  • Become a tourist attraction spot (internet-famous site)

  • Environmental damages and pollutions ( Air pollution, Noise pollution, land pollution)

  • Old building structures need extra cost for maintenance and preservation
